Humanistic quality education is different from teaching of general subject knowledge. It is a kind of personality cultivation education. The characteristics of their own school-running orientation, the talent training target and humanities characteristics of the students themselves should be taken into account in humanistic quality education in local engineering colleges. And the following three aspects should be involved in such education: teaching of human culture knowledge, cultivation of humanistic spirit, and nurturance of human behaviors. Each aspect should have its own emphasis and features. |
