| Yancheng Lu Gong Temple, located on Ruxue Street, Tinghu district of Yancheng city, is a key protection unit of Jiangsu province. Lu Gong Temple has been built to commemorate Lu Xiufu, a famous national hero in Southern Song dynasty. According to the record of Yancheng county annals, Lu Gong Temple was first built in Ming dynasty. It has undergone several times of renovation and rebuilt. As the development of urbanization and education, people's consciousness in protection of cultural relics has been progressing. In this paper, the writer will carry on a brief research on the history of Lu Gong Temple's renovation and rebuilt in past dynasties to call on more people to protect cultural relics and carry forward Chinese national spirits. |
