| 英文版《孔子的道德》是世界上最早的孔子学说英译本.它完全转译于由德·拉·布鲁纳根据柏应理等耶稣会士所译拉丁文《中国哲学家孔子》而编译而成的法文版《孔子的道德》,后一百余年,未见新译本问世,其对于英国知识界的影响可窥一斑.拟从以柏应理为代表的明清西方传教士入手,以此译本中的八十条箴言为重点研读文本,与中文原文对照进行评析,探讨传教士们如何翻译儒家经典及其启示. |

| The Morals of Confucius,A Chinese Philosopher is considered to be the earliest English version on Confucianism.It completely came from the French version La Morale de Confucius,philosophe de la Chine which was translated and edited from Confucius Sinarum Philosophus by Philippe Couplet and other Jesuits.We can perceive its influence from the fact that 100 years after its publication,no other translation ever came out.This paper intends to take the western missionaries like Philippe Couplet as the main perspective,and focus on the eighty maxims,wishing to see how the missionaries translate the Confucian Classics,and why. |
