| As a center of ancient salt distribution,there are numerous historic cultural sites and monumental natural features in Caoyan,a town of Yancheng.In order to avoid being destroyed in the procession of new industrialization and urbanization in China,these precious historical relics full of rich distinctive characteristics must be excavated and studied in a retrievable way.The core of the ancient salt distribution cultural sites is the salt,and the soul is the waters.A study or textual research on ancient town,ancient river way and ancient waters is the key to discover the history of ancient salt distribution.Ancient waters is the basic coordinate axis and living soul of digging the precious history of ancient salt distribution in Caoyan. |
