      当前大学英语教学在教与学双方都存在重语法轻词汇的问题.要解决这一问题,必须认识到语法和词汇教学密不可分,并在实践上改革语法和词汇教学,在交际法教学的前提下,改进教学方法,以使大学英语教学适应素质教育的要求.

      In college English teaching, both teachers and students put too much emphasis on words while ignoring grammar. To solve this problem, we must recognize the close connection between grammar teaching and lexical teaching, and both of them need to be reformed in practice. We should improve teaching methods on the basis of communicative approach, so that college English teaching can stand up to the requirements of quality education.
