| 19世纪初至20世纪中叶的汉英对比研究,始于1807年马礼逊来华编撰《华英字典》,历经百年发展,完成了从传教士实用化比对,到王力、吕叔湘、赵元任等本土学者运用现代语言学开展系统探究的转型。以时间为脉络、名家典籍与学术流派为线索,梳理学科发展历程,探析其与传教活动、洋务运动、新文化运动及现代汉语语法体系构建的内在关联。近代汉英对比观念逐步摆脱以英语标准评判汉语的依附思维,树立起英汉对等审视的本土学术自觉。 |

| From the early 19th century to the mid-20th century, the contrastive study on Chinese and English originated in 1807 when Robert Morrison compiled Chinese-English Dictionary after his arrival in China. After a century of development, the practical comparative study by missionaries has evolved into systematic exploration based on modern linguistics by indigenous scholars, including Wang Li, Lv Shuxiang and Zhao Yuanren. This paper studies the chronological development, focusing on classic literature and scholars, revealing the relationship between it and Missionary Movement, Westernization Movement, New Culture Movement and the construction of modern Chinese grammatical system. Modern concepts of Chinese-English contrastive study have gradually broken away from the subordinate thinking of judging Chinese by English standards, with rising academic independence and equal horizons for examining English and Chinese. |
