| Xu Zhimo and Wen Yiduo were both representative poets of the Crescent Moon School. Both poets expressed the theoretical propositions and insights of the Crescent Moon School in their works, making outstanding contributions to the development of modern Chinese poetry. However, their creative styles were diametrically opposed. Xu's poetry is fresh and pleasing, with a humanistic concern for nature that reflects the poet's romantic temperament. Wen's poetry, in contrast, expresses love and longing for his homeland through disappointment and melancholy, pays greater attention to ordinary people, in its concern for the nation's fate,and awakens a sense of national vigilance. The contrast between the two poets highlights their artistic charm and reflects their distinct creative styles and personal charisma. |
