| This paper delves into the evolution of revolutionary film music in China over the past seven decades, with a specific focus on its distinct value and practical implications as a medium for aesthetic governance. Revolutionary film music, emerging from the amalgamation of cinematic artistry and revolutionary ethos, serves as a mirror reflecting the shifts in national governance paradigms. Its profound ability to intervene in societal realities underscores its critical role in aesthetic governance. Through a rigorous examination of the aesthetic components and governance logics inherent in revolutionary film music, this study unveils how it employs themes and interludes to articulate revolutionary ideologies and heroism, thereby evoking historical recollections among the audience. This fosters the formation of an aesthetically driven community with emotional resonance, ultimately enhancing social governance frameworks. By transforming individualized aesthetic experiences into collective ones, revolutionary film music ignites a sense of patriotism among viewers, inspiring them to persevere and excel. Set within the broader narrative of China's modernization trajectory, this genre of music exhibits profound aesthetic and sociological significance.
