This paper analyzes the Mandarin promotion policy through Kaplan & Baldauf′s "Language Planning Goal Theory", constructs a language status, form and identity security planning analysis framework on the basis of the language security planning theory, and analyzes the dialect policies that appear in the process of Mandarin promotion. The research found that: (1)Mandarin promotion policies can be interpreted in terms of language status planning, corpus planning, language-in-education planning and prestige/image planning, and the purpose of various specific policies for Mandarin promotion can be better analyzed from each planning level. (2)Language security planning should consider the relationship between Mandarin and dialects. In the promotion of Mandarin, dialects should be protected to a certain extent. Reasonable planning should be made from the status of Mandarin and dialects, the vocabulary, phonetic and grammatical system, acquisition and reputation planning, so as to improve the status of Mandarin while protecting the local dialect culture. This research combines Mandarin promotion policy and dialect policy research, carries out the language policy planning objective analysis of Mandarin policy and language security planning analysis of dialect policy, and provides references for the practice of language policy and planning research. At the same time, it tries to build a language security planning analysis framework in order to better understand and implement relevant policies. |
