| 冷战结束后，东盟在经济领域选择了符合成员国实际利益的合作路径，在促进区域内经贸合作的同时，也关注同域外行为体的经济互动，进程中展现出平等、多样化、自主协商等新地区主义重要特征。东盟开放性的新地区主义经济合作既增强了成员国间的良性互动，又提升了该区域组织的国际地位和影响力，为其他国际行为体跨地区经济合作提供了典型范式。 |

| After the end of the Cold War, ASEAN member states have strengthened cooperative practices in the economic field in line with their national interests. They focus both on the intra-regional economic cooperation and on the economic interactions with external actors. The process is characterized by elements of new regionalism such as openness, diversification, and autonomy. The paradigm of new regionalism enhances economic interactions among member states and ASEAN′s status in the international arena, providing an example for regional economic cooperation of other international actors. |
