| As a linguistic phenomenon, loanwords are the product of social and cultural exchanges. Foreign Words: Messengers of Different Cultures by Mr. Shi Youwei is a work that explores the issue of loanwords with both practicality and scientificity. This book studies foreign words from the perspective of cultural linguistics, and builds a clear framework for people from the perspective of combining diachronic and topical topics, so that people can find clues from the complexity and examine Chinese loanwords as a whole. |
