| Young students are the strategic reserve army for national development and the hope of the nation. The Chinese Communist Party has always attached importance to moral education. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Comrade Xi Jinping has made a series of important expositions on the moral education of young students. It is an important part of Xi Jinping's socialist thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era. Xi Jinping proposed that strengthening moral education for young students should be based on lofty ideals and beliefs; based on correct world outlook, outlook on life and values; social morality, professional ethics, and family virtues should be taken as the basic content. He also pays special attention to the moral cultivation path of college students' ideological and political theory classrooms, the influence of college campus culture, the channels of educating people in new media, and the moral practice of young students. In-depth study and grasping Xi Jinping's important exposition on the moral education of young students is of great significance to strengthening the moral construction of young students and cultivating the socialist cause in the new era. |
