| Pan-Africanism, is from nationalism in the black world to nationalism on the African continent, its connotation constantly enriches and develops. During the period of the OAU, the main content of Pan-Africanism was to promote African national liberation and national independence, the OAU embodies "African unity" connotation of the Pan-Africanism; During the OAU period, Pan-Africanism is mainly to promote the economic, political and military integration of African countries and to realize the revival of the African continent. the AU embodies the connotation of pan-africanism "African integration". It is concluded that the substitution of the AU for the OAU is the inevitable result of Pan-Africanism. To achieve African renaissance, first of all, Africa must adhere to Pan-Africanism and achieve "integration". |
