| Since the reform and opening-up, our nation's economy has been developing by leaps and bounds. Meanwhile, great changes have occurred in different social levels, both in cities and in villages. And as the processing of the urbanization, new villages are developing very fast. Some villages of traditional folk culture have been forced into poky "lanes" while some villages have even vanished from the history. Therefore, the protection of traditional villages is extremely urgent. In this paper, the writer will take Yancheng as an example to carry on a preliminary research on the excavation, protection and utilization of traditional villages. |
