      大学的本质是一种文化,教育的根本途径是文化育人。对人的精神和人格的培养与熏陶不是知识教育、专业教育能完成的,而是需要文化的培育。一个没有文化自觉的人,其才能再大也不是社会需要的人。这种培育与熏陶,不同学校应有自己的特色,特色的源泉就在于不同的校本文化资源。没有对大学文化的传承和大学精神的回归,没有自己文化品牌的建设,没有文化品牌的育人功能,文化育人依然摆脱不了千篇一律没有特色的育人理念。
英文摘要:
      The essence of university is a kind of culture and cultural education is the basic way of education. It is cultural education that can cultivate and edify the human spirit and the personality instead of knowledge or professional education. A man without cultural consciousness is still not a social need even though he has great capacity. Different schools should have their own characteristics in the aspect of cultivating and edification, which lies in the different school-based cultural resources. Cultural education still can't get rid of the stereotyped and featureless education concept if there is no inheritance of university culture, no return of university spirit, no own construction of cultural brand and its educational function.
