| It has been thousands of years since the emergence and evolution of world civilizations. They take on different forms and the relations among them have always been dialectical. Based on a theoretical paradigm New Dialectics, Comparative Civilization Study by Prof. Fang Hanwen discusses different world civilizations and their characteristics. With open theoretical horizon and detailed historical data, the monograph probes into the fundamental ideas and theory system of comparative civilization study, claiming the mutuality of unification and difference of different civilizations with the purpose of promoting their dialogue and integration. The book is of great significance for the study of comparative civilization in China. |
