| Yancheng has many unique place names.And this is closely related to the city’s geographical location and prosperous boiled salt industry from ancient times.Through analysing the motivation of language and culture of "×chang(场) " 、 "×zong(总) " and "×dang(荡) ",the author aimed at revealing the historical and cultural connotation of the place names.Not only is this conducive to knowing its culture value,but also conducive to inheriting and carrying forward the regional culture. |
