| Weng Tonghe Collection compiled by Xie Junmei recorded the Weng Tonghe letters home from Weng Tonghe Letters Home in Changshu kept in the National Library of China,which was regarded as the important materials of studying Weng Tonghe’s lifetime activity and late Qing Dynasty and the first hand materials of discussing Wengs family comprehensively as well.But there were some mistakes in interpretation of characters and chronicles.This article selects letters from Weng Tonghe Collection,mainly focuses on the wrong chronicles in the letters home from Weng Tonghe to Weng Binsun,and tries to correct the exceptional faults in the interpretation and textual research. |
