      语言学家们对隐喻的识解是基于隐喻形式能提升与隐喻对象相关特质而抑制不相关的特质的假设基础之上的,这种假设通过交叉知觉模式的词汇触发研究得到了证实。其中对不相关特质的抑制主要有类涵与关联论两种模式。通过对这两种模式的对比发现:意义选择与意义建构是二者主要的差异,前者注重的是隐喻载体的特征范畴,后者的理论亨心在于分析词汇的编码意义,为实现其交际意义如何在特定语境里进行概念调整的语用过程。
英文摘要:
      Linguists’ construal of metaphoric expressions is based on the hypothesis,which has been verified in a cross-modal lexical priming study,that metaphor interpretation involves enhancing properties of the metaphor vehicle that are relevant to interpretation,while suppressing those irrelevant.The suppression of the irrelevant properties of the metaphor vehicle mainly involves two models:Class-inclusion and Relevance Theory.Through the contrastive study,this paper finds that the main difference between the two models lies in meaning selection and meaning construction.The former focuses on the diagnostic category of the metaphor vehicle while the latter stresses the analysis of the pragmatic process of the concept adjustment,i.e.how the communicated meaning is realized from the encoded lexical meaning in the ad hoc context.
