      美国人热爱荒野,那独特的意象已成为美国文学诸多创作形式的源泉.探究了两种貌似矛盾的表现形式,即库柏的边疆传奇<皮袜子故事集>与万宝路香烟广告,试图分析各自特色,通过对比,找出异同,发掘两种不同表现手法下共同体现的美国浪漫主义色彩和民族精神,旨在提出人与自然和谐统一的生态意识,并把这种意识上升到精神生态层面,表达了现代人对回归自然和自由的向往.
英文摘要:
      Americans adore wilderness which has already been the source in many American wrings.This paper analyzes the seemingly controversial forms of manifestation,namely Cooper’s frontier legend "Leather Stocking Tales" and Marlboro commercial,attempting to find out the differences as well as the similarities by comparison.It further investigates the features of the American Romanticism and national spirit,with the aim to explore the ecological ideology of the harmony between man and nature.It finally highlights that the ideology lies not only in the natural level,but also in the mental level,which expresses modern people’s desire of returning to nature and freedom.
