| Comrade Chen Yi had left a glorious struggling footprint in Yanfuhuai area.He commanded the New Fourth Army fighting against the enemies and obtained great military victory,and many battles were described in his verse during that time.His poems not only encouraged the civil-military striving to kill the enemies,but also united many local celebrities and squire scribe,thus formed the most extensive anti-Japanese united front,helped to bring about the interaction and mutual assistance of the military armed force and cultural front. |
