| In the paper of titbits of words in Annotation on Waterways(《水经注》),WangDong points out that Xiu has the meaning of high.After comprehensively looking up The Chinese Dictionary and detailed analysis of all entries including Xiu,it is discovered that some entries meanings are not so accurate because of the ignorant of Xiu’s meaning of high.The aim of this paper is to correct their mistakes. |
