| Looking back on the past,probing into the present and looking into the future,we see the three stages of human-nature relationship: the Positive,the Negative and the Cooperative.This paper tries to analyze through an ecocritical perspective "An Odyssey of the North" by the American writer Jack London.The three major characters of the short story represent respectively the three kinds of human-nature relationships.An ecocritical reading of "An Odyssey of the North" is of practical significance to the achievement of a harmonious relationship between man and nature. |
