| Lao Li is the leading character of Lao She’s long fiction "Divorce". He is one of intellectuals who have some natural qualities. When this type of intellectuals face "modern trend" which is a numerous and complicated phenomenon, they will get entangled over the question of reason and independence,and finally lose their self-recognition.In the same time,this symbol of the intellectuals also reflects the author——Lao She’s thought and some conviction in his time. |
