| This article selects the 16th-century British writer John Donne′s poems and American contemporary realist novelist John Steinbeck′s "Chrysanthemums", and analyzes the background of the times reflected and the thought to be expressed in literary works from female perspective, so that have a deep understanding of the status and life of women in western countries during the modern social transformation. |
