| Hu Yaobang was one of the outstanding leaders of youth work in the history of our party. He had been engaged in youth work for a long time and had formed a systematic and rich youth education thought: Arm the youth with the spirit of communism and make it a primary task to raise young people's awareness of communism; make it an important thing of education work to help young people learn culture and professional skills and improve the ability to build socialism; Pay attention to the method of persuasion and education to promote the enthusiasm and initiative of young people; make it a main way of education to carry out practical activities which are beneficial to the socialist cause and suitable for youth development; it is a strong guarantee of education work to strengthen the building of youth league organizations, especially the building of cadres. The precious spiritual wealth still has important theoretical and practical value to guide youth work in the new era. |
