| As the great literary masters,LuXun and William Faulkner had portrayed vividly some females,who were consistently regarded as the disadvangtaged groups in their hometowns.These females have not only enriched the heroines in literature but provoled the thinking and discussion about the social and human relations from different angles.Therefore,this paper,comparing The New-year Sacrifice by LuXun with A Rose for Emily by William Faulkner,discusses the causes of the tragedy fate and aesthetic meaning of Xianglinsao and Emily. |
